Radiant Power/Dukane Seacom (RPC/DS) continues to monitor local, state, and federal guidance on the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Currently our facility is open, but we have taken steps to reduce
headcount in the building to allow for social distancing. Approximately 40% of our team (sales,engineering, finance, and other administrative functions) are operating remotely or working on alternating
days. The direct operations and quality teams continue to report to the facility. We continue to work a single shift, 4-day/40hr work week.

Due to the ongoing decline in backlog and sales caused by this crisis, we are implementing the following work schedule. Starting in May, we will operate on a 3-week production schedule with a 1-week facility
shutdown. This will continue through July.

Our sales/customer service team will work to communicate any production/delivery changes in advance,
but we do not anticipate significant disruptions. Our AOG process remains in place.

May 1-22 Normal operations
May 25-29 Facility shutdown

June – 2020
June 1-19 Normal operations
June 22-26 Facility shutdown

While this modified schedule may seem disruptive, we are confident with advanced planning and coordination we will continue to meet customer obligations. More importantly, it preserves our team and
gives us the ability to quickly ramp up as sales improve once this crisis abates. We will continue to monitor market conditions and communicate any further adjustments, should they be needed.

(“Radiant Power”) subsidiary acquired 100% of the business and assets of the Human-Machine Interface (“HMI”) product line of Spectralux Corporation in an all cash transaction. Radiant Power is part of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group.

HEICO stated that it expects the acquisition to be accretive to its earnings within a year following the purchase. Further financial terms and details were not disclosed. The purchase is HEICO’s seventh acquisition in the past year.

Complete Thermal Runaway Compliance With Low-Lithium Battery

SARASOTA, Fla., October 2, 2019 – Dukane Seacom (a HEICO Company, NYSE: HEI, HEI.A) received FAA TSO-C121b and TSO-C142b for the DK290 90-Day Underwater Locator Beacon and Low-Lithium Battery.

Dukane Seacom’s new DK290 underwater locator beacon (ULB) provides 90-days of operational life and uses lower lithium content batteries allowing for less restricted hazardous goods shipping processes.

The DK290 is fully compliant with the latest DO-227A Lithium Battery requirements and meets all non-rechargeable lithium battery special conditions requirements for installation on aircraft.

The DK290 builds on Dukane Seacom’s industry leading ULB technology by providing common installation and maintenance processes as Dukane Seacom’s existing 90-day ULBs. This common design and maintenance approach will provide airlines and fleet maintenance organizations reliable performance and reduce shipping and handling costs with the new low-lithium technology batteries.

The F-16 and Proven Aircraft Technical Coordination Groups (TCGs) are part of the AFMC managed Technical Coordination Program (TCP). TCGs provide follow-on sustainment support services (technical, engineering, and logistics assistance) for aircraft, missile, precision attack pods, and related equipment owned by various Partner Nations (PNs). The Proven Aircraft TCG provides technical support to PNs flying the F-5, F-4, A/T-37, and T-38 aircraft. The F-16 TCG provides the same service to PNs flying all variants of the F-16. The Worldwide Review (WWR) is the capstone service provided by the TCG each year allowing all member countries to gather in one location to discuss common configuration/maintenance/and logistics issues and meet with qualified vendors, USG Engineers, Equipment Specialists and Program Managers for possible solutions

DO-227A Thermal runaway compliance with enhanced operational performance

SARASOTA, Fla., April 2, 2019 – Dukane Seacom (a HEICO Company, NYSE: HEI, HEI.A) received FAA TSO-126b for the DK-406-AF Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT).

Dukane Seacom’s new AeroELT™ DK-406-AF is an integrated ELT solution that was designed and tested to the current and future requirements for worldwide ELT operations. With focus on high reliability, the DK-406-AF provides improvements in automatic triggering, meeting DO-227A thermal runaway containment requirements.

The DK-406-AF uses multi-axis MEMS technology to automatically detect impact, improving trigger reliability over traditional “G-Switch” triggers. A self-contained worldwide GNSS receiver further enhances the ability of search and rescue to quickly locate an aircraft in distress.

Significant focus was taken to address thermal runaway management during the design phase of the DK-406-AF ELT. The efficiently designed aluminum housing minimizes weight while meeting DO-227A for containment of a lithium battery thermal runaway event. The unit’s small footprint allows for flexible installation options for fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms.
